This extremely versatile and easy-to-install "in-the-wall" security box is a perfect location to store some extra cash or a firearm from people who should not have access to it. I was impressed with the quality of the build, and the locking bars are strong enough to hold the door firmly.NICE!!!!😄 The safe is well designed, and the painted finish is flawless. Please note that this "wall safe" is a means of securing items temporarily. It isn't built to store lots of money, jewels, or a small arsenal of guns. It is a good place to keep things under control for short periods. I was able to install this unit perfectly between two wooden studs once the location was decided upon and the drywall was cut. The box fit snugly in the wall and was secure with the wood screws I used to mount it. ⚡HINT⚡: Just some food for thought. In my installation of this wall safe, I added two (2) horizontal cross pieces of 2 x 4 wood between the vertical studs to secure the box. This allowed me to use wood screws on the top and bottom of the wall safe to secure it into the woodwork so it will never budge!!! You might not think you need to follow this extra step. And you may be right. But since I was opening up the drywall anyway, I thought it wouldn't hurt to add a little more hardware to make this box almost impossible to pry out of the wall!!!😄 Once I had the wall safe attached securely, I used a small piece of drywall and some spackle to close up the hole. A couple of quick sanding sessions and a little paint made my drywall look perfect. I decided to hide the wall safe behind a picture to obscure its view and divert attention to the safe. The adjustable shelf is great for fitting different-sized items at different times. The lock on the safe is smooth to operate and fairly strong, so it would require some advanced knowledge to pick open. 🚩I rate this wall safe from Plugsharge a solid 10 out of 10 because it is well designed, it's made of quality materials, it's easy to install, fits comfortably between standard spaced wall studs, and is affordable. I would recommend this wall safe for individuals who might need to gain quick access to important documents, some spare cash, or possibly a defensive device. It is made to keep out those who do not need to get to the contents, while allowing quick access to a designated key holder!!!😊
